Home Alone 4: Taking Back the House (2002) Peter McCallister yang kini bercerai dari istrinya Kate, mengumumkan kunjungan kerajaan ke vilanya dan mengundang anak-anak Buzz, Megan dan Kevin, serta pacar kaya Natalie Calvin, untuk menghabiskan Natal bersamanya. Ketiganya awalnya menolak, namun setelah diancam oleh Buzz, Kevin menerima tawaran tersebut dan menikmati vila mewah tersebut.
Keesokan paginya, Peter dan Natalie keluar dan Kevin tetap tinggal bersama para pelayan Natalie, Tuan.

Prescott dan Molly. Kevin memperhatikan musuh bebuyutannya Marv Martins dan istrinya Bella sedang menjelajahi rumah. Setelah gagal memikat Tuan. Prescott melalui interkom, dia menyerbu masuk ke dalam mansion dan mengusir mereka. Peter dan Natalie yang sudah kembali tidak mau mempercayai penjelasan Kevin, apalagi Mr. Prescott bersikeras bahwa mereka tidak melihat apapun. Selama perampokan, Kevin menemukan bahwa kamera pengintai mati dan dia yakin bahwa Tuan Prescott bersekongkol dengan Marv dan Bella.

Kevin, Peter, dan Natalie mendekorasi pohon Natal untuk menghibur diri, namun kemudian didekorasi ulang oleh dekorator profesional atas permintaan Natalie. Persiapan sedang dilakukan di vila untuk pesta kedatangan keluarga kerajaan, dan saat Peter dan Natalie menyambut mereka, Kevin memperhatikan Marv dan Bella berpakaian seperti katering. Dia mengunci Tuan. Prescott di dalam freezer, mendengar rencana Marv dan Bella untuk menculik sang pangeran untuk mendapatkan uang tebusan, dan melemparkannya ke luar jendela.
